Jointz took another look at one of the most talked about art venues
-
Cannibal Flower. L. Croskey and Jean-Paul Garnier are backed by a slew
of artists exposing underground art and music in LA. This time, hosting a
show for Broken Wrist Project LA. With a vision that's inspired and speaks
to senses of what art is about, BWP brings out the best underground
collective through writing and art. The self-published new book 'BWP ONE'
complements various short stories by Chicago writers, Aesop Rock, Dave
Tompkins, and James Hughes. Interested in telling stories, developing
meaningful characters, and finding qualified artists to capture the dynamic
images, made for an engaging show with rich characters on canvas. BWP and
eleven painters displayed original works, some of which appear in the book.
BWP was especially proud to show artist Farizio Moretti, Kevin Christy, Jeff
Soto, and Taylor McKimens. While the talented Telefon Tel Aviv dropped
heavy texture beats and algorithms exciting the mixed crowd. The BWP ONE
book can be purchased at www.heftyrecords.com.
